Nalin Jayawardhana Named CMG Executive of the Year 2024

Nalin Jayawardhana, CEO of S-lon Lanka, has emerged as the winner of its Executive of the Year 2024 award.

The award was presented by Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Sashi Rajamahendran at CMG’s Annual Group Review and 45th Executive of the Year Awards Ceremony, held at Stein Studios, Ratmalana. The event was graced by former South African President Thabo Mbeki as Chief Guest.

Jayawardhana was selected from a strong group of finalists including:

• Neomi Nalawansa – CEO, Tuffline

• Samantha Alwis – CEO, Kevilton Electrical Products

• Gayan Sampath Somachandra – Director, Newsfirst

• Tamara Kudaliyanage – Deputy Chief Information Officer

MTV Channel Ltd. received the prestigious ‘RR Award’, named in honour of the late Chairman R. Rajamahendran, for outstanding company performance.

The Achievers Awards recognised five individuals for excellence across the Group:

• Perumal Selvakumar – Manager Purchasing, AF Jones

• Wasana Mallikahewa – Head of ERP Practice, Group IT

• Dharmasri Ekanayake – Director, Sirasa TV

• H.W.S.S. Sanjeewa – Sales Support Manager, S-lon Lanka

• Chameera Dodangoda – Dealer Sales Development Manager, Kevilton Electrical Products
